JobCircle Offers New Twitter Recruiting Tool for Busy HR Professionals

If you are a regular visitor to JobCircle.com, you may already know that we have caught the Twitter bug. Several months ago, we created our first JobCircle Twitter account and there was no looking back. If you follow us on Twitter at @JobCircle, you will receive daily career advice, information about jobs and links to companies that are hiring.

Recently, we created JobCircle job channels (accounts) on Twitter that jobseekers can follow and receive daily tweets of job postings. These job channels are organized by industry, city and state, so that you can follow the channel the matches your needs. For example, if an employer in Philadelphia posts a job for a Financial Analyst, this job will be tweeted through the following channels: @financecareers, @philly_jobs, @pajobs and @jobcircle_jobs. Like the rest of the world, we have discovered the true power of Twitter, and more and more recruiters are harnessing the power of social networking as well. Twitter provides a way for jobseekers and employers to connect directly and instantly! However, there are still many employers out there that are concerned about the learning curve when it comes to Twitter and have not taken the plunge. For this reason, JobCircle has decided to come to their rescue by creating a new recruiting tool designed to help them stay relevant in today’s job market.
The ‘Social Media Recruitment Pack’ will allow companies to use Twitter to find and hire candidates. JobCircle will set up a corporate Twitter account that will tweet open positions to the channel’s followers. The pack provides components that allow employers to build their brand across the Twittersphere, and yes, that is a real word!
QVC among first to test out new tool.
Among the first companies to utilize this new product offering is QVC, Inc. The retail giant can now be found on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/qvcjobs. Visitors who click on the job tweets are sent directly to the corporate website. Clients’ jobs will be distributed to all of JobCircle’s 160 job channels as well as to 40+ vertical aggregator job sites like Indeed, Simply Hired, TopUSA Jobs and others.
